    Company Safety Policy

    Powell Electrical Systems, Inc. (Offshore Div.) conducts its business in a manner to protect people from injury or damage to health, and equipment and facilities from loss of value or function. Safety and health will be given the highest priority when making business decisions. Employees shall be provided training in procedures to do their job safely.

    It is the policy of Powell Electrical Systems, Inc. – Offshore Division to promote safe working conditions for all employees, to make available, where necessary, special equipment to protect employees against specific hazards, to reduce accidents through prevention programs and to establish rules that are designed for safety of all. Every employee is responsible for adhering to all Safety Rules and Regulations, observing all safety practices and exercising every precaution for the prevention of accidents. In addition, it is the responsibility of each employee to inform supervisory personnel of noted safety or health hazards not specifically described within the Safety Rules and Regulations.

    The policies and procedures set forth in this plan have been established for the well being of all personnel while working at this facility. Failure to observe these policies and procedures could subject personnel and the company to unnecessary and unreasonable risk and liability. Using common sense and understanding of the rationality of the Rules and Regulations is required to make this Safety Plan effective. The most important rule is one that only YOU can enforce and that is to "THINK BEFORE YOU ACT".
