IADC HSE RigPass

IADC HSE Rig Pass is designed to provide new employees with a basic orientation of rig operations and safe work practices to improve the safety performance of the Service Contractor and the E & P Operator and to assist both in satisfying federal, state and industry regulations and recommended practices.

Upon completion, the employee will be able to demonstrate a basic knowledge of applicable regulations and government agencies, general safety policies applicable to the work site, incident and environmental protection reporting procedures, the service contractor/customer working relationship, and employee's responsibilities.

This outline plus the offshore endorsement training also meets the requirements for SafeGulf orientation. Student completion card will include SafeGulf information and bar code for accessing shore bases.

Fee:   $175 (materials, Test & IADC cards included)

$195 with offshore endorsement (materials & SafeGulf ID card   included)

SRI does offer a “Test-Out” option. The test provided under “Test-Out” is to help assure a new employee has adequate training and knowledge from training already provided that complies with the IADC HSE RigPass Criteria.  SRI maintains a test bank of over 500 questions with 4 different student tests which consist of 100 questions each. Students must have at least 6 months of oilfield experience and make a score of 90% to pass one of the 4, 100 question tests.  Students who fail to pass the HSE RigPass “test-out option test”, must take the full HSE RigPass training program. Examination fee: $75 (all testing material & SafeGulf ID card are included).

Note: If a student does not pass the “Test Out” Exam, the full training course will be available immediately after the “Test Out” Exam for an additional fee of $100.00 for the land version, SAFELANDUSA equitant and $120.00 for the offshore endorsement, SafeGulf equitant.

SafeLandUSA Test Out Option

SRI does offer a “test-out” option. The test provided under Test-Out is to help assure a new employee has adequate training and knowledge from training already provided that complies with the SafeLandUSA Syllabus.

 The test consists of 100 questions selected from material in the

SafeLandUSA Syllabus. An accredited Training Provider, SRI, will conduct the test. The person attempting to test out must make a score of 90% to pass. The person who fails the test out exam must take the full SafeLandUSA syllabus training provided by SRI. FREE Preparation Course offer through Open Source Safety.

Examination fee: $75 (all testing material & SAFELANDUSA ID card are included).

Note: If a student does not pass the “Test Out” Exam, the full training course will be available immediately after the “Test Out” Exam for an additional fee of $100.00.

 

 SafeGulf Training

SafeGulf is the basic safety training standard developed by four major offshore oil companies: BP, Shell, Chevron and ExxonMobil. All contractors who perform offshore work for these operators must:

• Complete training in accordance with SafeGulf approved curriculum
• Pass a 100 question test
• Carry a SafeGulf Identification Card (these cards have no expiration date)
• Be listed in the SafeGulf database

Fee: $195 (materials, Test & SafeGulf ID card included)

The SafeGulf USA provides for a Test-Out feature. The test provided under the Test-Out is to help assure the current students have adequate training and knowledge from training already provided that complies with the SafeGulf Syllabus.

The test consist of 100 question selected from material in the SafeGulf syllabus. An accredited Training Provider will conduct the test. Students must make a score of 90% to pass. Students who fail must take SafeGulf Orientation provided by an accredited Training Provider. The Training Provider must record the failing Test-Out grade (F) in the SafeGulf database and maintain the documentation.

Prior to a student being allowed to take a Test-Out, the Training Provider will search the SafeGulf database to determine if student is eligible to take a Test-Out. If the student has a prior documented Test-Out failure, the student will be directed to take the SafeGulf Orientation provided by an accredited Training Provider.

The Training Provider must record where the student has received their initial training and the number of years the student has worked offshore. The student must sign the document verifying the information. FREE Preparation Course offer through Open Source Safety.

Examination fee: $75 (all testing material & SafeGulf ID card are included).

Note: If a student does not pass the “Test Out” Exam, the full training course will be available immediately after the “Test Out” Exam for an additional fee of $120.00 for the full SafeGulf training.

Procedure for classroom training if student does not pass the “Test Out” Option 

1.  Minimum Class size - Test-out: 10 or Classroom: 5 Trainees

2.  The student  may reschedule training for another training session date or complete the training on the same day as the exam.

3.  The fee for taking the training is $100.00 for onshore training and $120 for the offshore endorsement if the “Test Out”  Exam is not passed.

4.  The student must pay the fee prior to taking the training or invoiced to the company they work for if authorized. An letter, authorizing the student to invoice the company is required or the company has been pre approved for invoicing.

5.   VISA, Master Card or American Express will be accepted in advance if registered on our website or on the day of the training.

6.   Photo IDs are required to take the “Test Out”  Exam or classroom training.

Locations: Oklahoma City, Caldwell , Longview , Odessa , Burleson, and Corpus Christi , Beaumont and Pearsall.  That would cover the oil related areas in general.  We have test out period at 7:30 am and the full day training at 9:00am to 6:00pm. Offshore endorsement from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm in the gulf areas.
